Has anybody found that taking Omega-3 promotes weight loss?

I am following the Weight Watchers program. I Recently read an article in Woman’s World mag stating that taking Omega-3, about 3,000 mg per day, along with 20 minutes of exercise, will result in approximately 2 lbs. of weightloss/fatloss a week.
And please, only answer the question I asked, and no extra, unsolicited answers. Thanks!!!
