ok. some help with cutting after I bulked?

I bulked for a solid few months.. I feel like I need to get more fit again before I keep getting bigger, so I want to cut until I reach 155-160 again. I currently weigh 169-173. I eat a good amount of protein every day and lift weights. If I wanna cut how much cardio should I add to my daily routine to maximize fatloss without muscle loss?

is walking too much bad for you?

I want to lose the weight(fat) as possible and I’ve read that the average calories lost per mile of walking is around 100 calories. So I figured that if I were to walk 8 hours a day at 3mph that would be around 2400 calories of fatloss a day. I would lose the fat in no time. But others have said that too much walking makes you lose muscle. Does anyone know anything about this? And if it is true then wouldnt eating enough protein and doing weightlifting counter this issue?
